Mumbai: Bollywood’s 'Barbie doll' Katrina Kaif has seemingly become too insecure of the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra these days. Kat recently backtracked from two big projects due to the fact that the directors had signed on Priyanka as well for their respective biggies, according to reports. Nevertheless, as far as Anurag Basu’s ‘Khamoshi’ is concerned, Kat’s loss has reportedly become Southern beauty Asin’s gain, as the latter has now replaced Katrina in the same to bag a pivotal role in the film which also stars Ranbir and PC.
Buzz has it that filmmaker Anurag Basu got a blow when Katrina decided to suddenly opt out of his upcoming venture. But just a day after Kat ditched ‘Khamoshi’, Basu roped in Asin to fill in for Katrina.
Grapevine has it that Asin bagged a role in Basu’s upcoming venture only after superstar Salman Khan reportedly recommended him for bigger roles in Bollywood.

Anyhow, reports claim that Kat walked out of ‘Khamoshi’ as she had got hold of the rights of the remake of a French film, which she would produce, as well as feature in.
